European Masters Championship Marathon Thun

The European Masters Championship in marathon running is being held at the foot of the Alps.

The big day is coming up on 5 September: the European Masters Championship in marathon skating will take place as part of the Swiss Skate Tour.

Perfect route in the heart of the Swiss Alps

The Panzerpiste offers you a flat and wide track that is perfect for inline skating. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skater, the conditions are ideal for showing off your skills or simply enjoying the ride.

An event for everyone!

This unique occasion is suitable for all ages and ability levels. Together with the NSK Thun roller ski marathon, you can look forward to a fantastic multi-sport event that promises fun and sporting challenges for the whole family.

The online registration deadline is 28 August 2026. No late registrations will be accepted for the European Masters Championships.

Traffic

The tank track is completely closed to traffic.

Parking

Parking spaces are signposted.

Food/drinks

There are catering facilities in the village. No other refreshment stations are planned along the route.

Warm-up

Warm-up on skates is only permitted on the designated routes and during the designated time slots.

Race number/timing chip

The race number must be attached to the left thigh. The timing chip must be attached to the ankle and returned immediately after crossing the finish line.

Timing chips that are not returned will be charged at CHF 80.

Adjust your speed to your skating ability!

Skate on the right!

Overtake faster skaters on the left!

No sudden braking or zigzagging!
